Description
The Wheel of Time series is by Robert Jordan.
I suppose I'm overdo for a Wheel Of Time fanart session. Frankly, I'm not that big a fan although I did read them all. This was a speed session, I did this with cutting a lot of corners so. Well, let's go from left to right shall we?
Perrin: A big timid blacksmith who's brain is a wolf. That comes up pretty often.
Rand: The "dragon". He's kind of a big deal. Except sometimes he reeeeeally isn't. Rand was pretty cool when he had a sweet Heron-blade sword and was learning swordsmanship, then he became like a god. Swords got pointless.
Mat: Probably everybody's favorite. He changes the most, with the least amount of whining.(I'm looking at you Perrin. And I'm calling you a whiner.) I only recently realized that much of Mat's development is closely related to the Norse god Odin.
Thom Merrilin: Oh my GOD let's move on.
Lan: Lan's pretty cool. Until you realize he is exactly like Aragorn in basically every possible way.
Moiraine: A shrewish, bossy, know-it-all who acts as the Gandalf of the story. She's wise, for a know-it-all. Unlike...
Nynaeve: A shrewish, bossy, know-it-all who pulls her hair. Quite possibly my least favorite and most despicable character of all time.
Faile: A shrewish, bossy, know-it-all who Perrin inexplicably is in love with.
Egwene: A shrewish, bossy, know-it-all who grew up with the three dudes. She begins relatively shrewish and bossy, but her frantic spiraling into shrewish bossitude is truly the heart of the saga.
Elayne: A pretty nice princess, the very instant she becomes an Aes Sedai she becomes a shrewish, bossy, know-it-all and never looks back.
Aviendha: One of the real saving graces of Wheel Of Time are the Aiel. A sort of desert Spartans who abhor swords. Aviendha is one such, but guess what she's actually like? It rhymes with, brewish, mossy, glow-it-all.
Min: The only normal female character in the saga, Min has a kind of clairvoyance. She's unfortunately designated to be a literal pet for another character.
The bad guy: Whatever.
I like multiple parts of Wheel Of Time. However I can't help but feel Robert Jordan must have had very unusual opinions of women. Also it's way too long.
Oh I guess there's a width limit? Or something? So to full view I guess you have to download.

I know what you mean about Jordans portrail of women at many times, but you also have to remember that it was set in a very different time, also Egwene, Elayne and Faile were 16 or 17 when the series begins, and Min not much older... Nynaeve is what 7 or 8 years older?
But I do most certainly see what you mean.
