hmm no mood for descriptions.

except that someone changed my mind. um, so this is about Star Trek. the original series, in which, pretty much every episode without fail Captain Kirk, Mr. Spock, and sometimes Dr. McCoy would go on away missions to hostile planets. Just to be safe they would bring 2 or 3 red shirted security officers. Who almost instantly die as soon as they land.

Technically Engineering and Comm, but close enough. I think that if there was a remake of TOS, and there was a SINGLE episode where a red shirt didn't die, the world would end then and there. Or worse.
