This was a really fun commission. Depicting the awesome moment when not only does Joffrey get poop thrown onto his face, adjacent to his nose and eyes and oh so pouty lips, but he gets kicked in the face by everybody's favorite Joffrey hitter, Tyrion Lannister. Clearly the worst thing ever to happen during that King Bread riot. Tyrek, Lollys, delicious High Septon? Don't say anything.
Now, there are several things wrong with this picture. One, it has a background and that is not my strong point. So. There's that. Second, the Hound was not actually present at this as he was defending Sansa's maidenhead like it was going out of style. However I already drew him pulling Tyrion off before I realized it was some other dude and I was just putting the finishing touches on the drool and I was like...ah whatever. So anybody seeing this do not let it overlap your memory of the actual book events. Let's keep it turbo-nerd here.
Speaking of turbo-nerding, can somebody tell me who pulls Tyrion off of Joffrey?

As over-the-top as Joffrey's portrayal may appear to be in the books is, it's apparently not far-fetched at all. Just try googling stories of the antics of dictators' children.
I love this picture, BTW! As tragic as Tyrion's life is, there are a few precious moments like this where you actually envy him.
