I don't usually draw Jon because he's sooooo popular. I'll stick with Lommy Greenhands thank you. I do however have a great affinity for the brief and very compelling appearance of Qhorin Halfhand. Qhorin. You may have half a hand, but you have all of my heart. And a killer pony tail.
Speaking of hands, George Martin really hates hands. I'm trying not to be a spoiler here. People always talk about the volume of death in these books, but if you add up all the real death there's not as much as you would think. But if you were to tally the amount of hand death? There should be a museum honoring the maimed hands in this book.
This part is also the first appearance of one of my favorite characters, the Lord o' Bones. I had planned on jamming him in, in some way but, I'll do something with him later. Doesn't everyone love the wildlings?
because he's 25 and not 15, I'd imagine. Jaime and Cersei are not quite how I pictured them either (how many times do they talk about having golden curls?) but I like both of the actors playing them regardless. Which isn't to say Kit Harrington isn't awesome, he's just very far from how I pictured Jon for years.
Yeah, Jaime def bugs me more. Syrio I didn't mind so much, because he's a relatively minor character, and I never got too clear a picture of him. Though, I am really looking forward to seeing how they pull of Jaqen and Brienne. Have you seen the actress that was cast in her role? She's definitely got the height, but she's also gorgeous, and I'm really hoping they won't try to pull some kind of "Oh Brienne is really pretty, she just wears manly clothes and armor and is kind of dirty" crap.
Oh I have no problems with Brienne. I saw the actress and thought she was too pretty, but have you seen the shots of her in full costume? She looks awful. Perfect for Brienne.
LIZ LOVES THE WILDLINGS, YES SHE DO, LIZ LOVES THE WILDINGS HOW 'BOUT YOU
I wish I could see your interpretation of Qhorin's face, mostly just because I really like how you portray all of these characters, but this is a great narratively drawn scene.

Anyway, do you have any plans on drawing up the Sand Snakes at any point? I am fond of them. Them and their crazy.
